Peziza vesiculosa Bull. ex St. Amans. Blasenförmiger Becherling Pézize vésiculeuse, Blistered Cup. Cup 3–8cm across, cup-shaped often with a strongly inrolled margin, often in clusters, sessile, inner surface pale yellowish-buff and often wrinkled, outer light buff, very scurfy. Flesh brittle, light buff. Asci 380 x 25µ, blued at the tip by iodine. Spores elliptical, smooth, 20–24 x 11–14µ. Habitat on manure, rotting straw bales and rich soil. Season all year. Common. Poisonous unless well cooked. Distribution, America and Europe.
