Psathyrella ochracea (Romagnesi) Kits van Waveren Cap 0.8-2cm across, conical-campanulate; ochre to reddish yellow, drying paler; wrinkled-veined. Gills adnate, distant; dull sooty brown. Stem 20-40 x 1-2mm; yellowish to ochraceous. Flesh watery pallid. Spores ellipsoid, 12.5-15 x 6.5-7µ.. Deposit purplish brown. Pleurocystidia sharp, awl-like. Habitat on soil. Found in the Pacific Northwest and possibly elsewhere. Season July-October. Not edible.
