Omphalina postii (Fr.) Sing. Moor-Nabling. Cap 0.5–5cm across, convex then centrally depressed, bright orange, striate at the margin. Stem 20–80 x 1–3mm, pale yellow-orange. Flesh thin, concolorous. Gills decurrent, yellowish. Spore print white. Spores elliptic, 6–10 x 4–5.5um. Habitat in damp places, amongst sphagnum, sometimes found on peat used for potting up plants. Season summer to autumn. Rare. Not edible. Found In Europe. Alick Henrici in his comments thinks that this collection is likely to be O. marchantae, but it is unclear how to separate the two species.
