Mitrula paludosa Fr. Sumf-Haubenpilz Bog Beacon. Fruit body 1–4cm high, fertile head ovoid or club-shaped, smooth yellow to orange, stem white. Asci 150 x 8µ. Spores cylindric-ellipsoid, 10–15 x 2.5–3µ. Habitat on rotting twigs and leaves in damp ditches or amongst sphagnum. Season spring to summer. Occasional. Not edible. Distribution, America and Europe.
