Entoloma lazulinum (Pers. Ex Fr.) Hesl. syn. Leptonia lazulina (Fr.) Quél. syn. Rhodophyllus lazulinus (Fr.) Quél. Schwarzblauer Zartling. Cap 1–2cm across, convex, blackish-blue, almost black at disc, covered in darker radiating fibres, margin striate. Stem 30–40 x 1–2mm, dark blue to blue-black or violet-blue. Flesh thin, dark blue. Smell strongly mushroomy. Gills at first deep bright blue or blue-grey becoming more pink with age. Spore print pink. Spores angularly oblong, 10–12 x 6.5–8um. Habitat grassland and heaths. Season autumn. Occasional – more common in the North and West. Poisonous. Found In Europe.
