Collybia strictipes Pk. Cap 2-6cm across, convex-flattened to slightly umbonate; yellow to orange-yellow or ochre; smooth. Gills narrow, crowded; pale yellowish to pinkish. Stem 25-75 x 3-l0mm, hollow; white to pale yellow; smooth, pruinose. Odor pleasant. Taste pleasant. Spores ellipsoid, smooth, 6-8 x 3-5ì. Deposit white. Habitat in groups on leaf litter in mixed hardwoods. Found in eastern North America to the Great Lakes. Season July-October. Edible.
