Clavulinopsis corniculata (Fr.) Corner syn. Clavaria corniculata Fr. Weisen-Koralle Meadow Coral. Fruit body 2–8cm high, egg yellow to ochraceous yellow with white down near base, gregarious in tufts, dichotomously branched with incurved crescentric tips. Flesh tough and firm. Taste bitter, smell mealy. Spores white, nearly globose, 4.5–7µ diameter. Habitat terrestrial, in lawns, open pastures and woods. Season early summer to late autumn. Occasional. Said to be edible. Distribution, America and Europe.
