Disciotis venosa (Pers.) Boud. Morchel-Becherling, Pézize veinée, Pézize à odeur de chlre, Bleach Cup Cup 3–15cm across, saucer-shaped with a short thick stalk, which is often buried in the soil, the inner surface dark brown and corrugate especially at the centre, the outer surface whitish and slightly scurfy. Asci 320×20µ. Spores broadly elliptical, 19–25×12–15µ. Habitat in lawns or on soil in woodland. Season spring. Occasional. Poisonous. Distribution, America and Europe.
