Agrocybe pediades (Fr.) Fayod Cap 1-3cm across, convex; ochre-buff to darker brown when wet; smooth. Gills adnate, crowded; cream then rust-brown. Stem 20-50 X 2-3mm; pale buff; fibrillose. Odor not distinctive. Taste not distinctive. Spores truncate, 9-13 x 6.6-7.5µ. Deposit dark brown. Habitat grasslands, pastures. Common. Found in Europe and throughout North America. Season May June. Not edible. |
